Not Too Shabby

Hey, it's January 3rd & I am posting. Pretty good start towards my New Years resolution. We just got back from Jacksonville last night. It was one of the best trips back home we have had.

We started out at my parents house on Saturday the 23rd. We of course had to leave @ 4am in the morning to "beat" the traffic. The trip was pretty much smooth sailing until Logan hurled in his car seat right on the ramp to I-10. We had to pull over & clean the nastiness up & we were on our way again. We think that he gets car sick, so no more movies in the car for that little boy. Anywho, we finally arrived & just hung out with my parents & chilled.

Sunday was Christmas Eve & my parents had a party at their house, it was a fabulous time. Good food, Friends, & of course my favorite, Spirits. The kids were awesome & were pretty much the stars of the party.

Monday, Christmas Day. I think that Grover or Andrea wrote this also, you can not begin to explain the joy it is to see w almost 3 year open up presents on Christmas morning. Everything was so exciting to him & when he got to the big present, his little ATV I thought that he was going to pass out from the sheer excitement of seeing that little car. It was so much fun to watch. We all racked & got the most wonderful gifts. I even got 1 gig of memory from my brother in law, Greg & my computer is running lighting fast. Boo Yah!!

The rest of trip including seeing all of our friends & just hanging out with family, which to me was the present of all.

I don't want to bore you with all of the mundane details of our trip, but I will leave you with some pictures if you ask really nicely. Okay, since you asked so sweetly, here is the link to the album. Enjoy!
P.S. Santa was kind of scary this year.

I love them! Santa looks an awful lot like G-dad doesn't he?

Can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

Great Photos Rach! I can't believe Eric made you leave at 4am to beat the traffic. Did you marry your Dad?

Have fun tonight with the soon to be bride!

Those kids are something else. I'm putting together a care package for both of them. It just saddens my heart seeing how left out of Christmas they were.
