Baby
Since the day we brought Ellie home from the hospital Logan has called her Baby. I thought this was something he would grow out of, but no, he still calls her Baby. The only thing I keep thinking of is Dirty Dancing. I just know know that we are going to take a trip when the kids are older & Ellie is going to meet a beef cake kind of guy & they will dance for the whole resort. The line that keeps ringing through my ears, "nobody puts Baby in the corner."
I don't like the nickname Baby & it really gets on my nerves when other people call her Baby when Logan is around. He knows her name is Ellie, but just won't call her that.
Last night when we were starting our bedtime routine Eric was telling me how Mallory pushed Ellie down @ the camping trip from Hell (see below). Eric said that Logan went to Ellie helped her up & gave her a kiss. I told Ellie, after Eric told me the story, that Logan will always have your back. Logan looked over at Ellie & said, "I got your back Baby."
The Baby thing, not so bad when it sounds as cute & sweet as that.

Ahh-yes-brotherly love. He won't stand still for someone else pushing her down-that is big brothers role.
Oh my goodness! What a sweet boy you have! Ellie is such a lucky little girl to have him. Hopefully she'll feel the same when she's a teenager! Yikes!
Your mother still calls me baby ! What's wrong with that.
