My Baby Started School, Sniff Sniff

Well today was Logan's 1st day of school. We got up early this morning & I kept telling him that today he was going to school & he kept saying to me in a question,"Wobot?". Here is the story behind, Wobot. When we went to his meet & greet on Friday there was a robot toy in the classroom & he couldn't get enough of it. So he associated school with a Wobot, which I guess is better than nothing. I walked him up to his classroom this morning & I must admit I had butterflies in my stomach. I don't know why I was so nervous. Maybe I was scared that he was going to be bad or throw a fit when I left. Maybe I was afraid he wasn't going to share or do something that is perfectly normal for a toddler, but you don't want other people to see. When we got to his room I told him, "Goodbye baby, Mommy will see you later." He then said to me, "Bye Mommy." I though to myself what a little independent kid. I then started for the door, & heard, "No Mommy, No." Logan was trying to come with me out the classroom. I told him that he needs to stay in class & gave him a gentle push back in. Well he said it again & his teacher came & got him while I made a beeline out of there. I didn't hear any crying & was very thankful for that, because I think that would have made me a mess. As I was walking out of the building I got a little teary eyed, which I didn't think was going to happen. I looked at Ellie & said, "At least I still have one baby left." Well after we dropped him off time flew & it was time to pick him up. I was waiting in the car for him & then I saw him, my little baby holding his teacher's hand after his first day of school. He saw me sitting in the car right away & I saw him say, "Mommy", and try to run to the car. The teacher had to stop him from running in the middle of the road. Well, they put him in the car & he says, "Hi Mommy", in the sweetest voice you could imagine. He did so well at his first day of school & I am so proud of my little 2 1/2 year old. Well now that I have written a novel, you know I have some pictures. Here is my little baby, big boy on first day of school.
