I am Always Late
I would first like to start off by saying Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there, but especially my Mom.
I think that there is going to be a special place in heaven for my Mom. I was probably one of the worst kids EVER. I put both my Mom & Dad through so much.
My Dad travelled a lot when we were kids so my Mom had to "deal" with me more than my Dad. My Mom showed me a lot of tough love, which is just what I needed, throughout my teenage years. She could have totally given up on me, but she didn't.
I would not be the person I am today if I didn't have her.
I would not be the wife I am today if I didn't have her.
I would not be the Mom I am today if I didn't have her.
I love you so much Mom, & I thank God everyday for you. You mean the world to me, & my children are just as lucky as me to have you as their Nana.

You are so blessed to have the parents you have. They represent my view of the very best values and ethics that can be found in the human race. Even though your Dad and I can get a little out of control when we are together.
Better late than never! And you are right, both you and your mom are awesome :)

btw - I almost freaked out when I saw the title of your blog! Something must be in the water. But turned out you were talking about a different kind of late. I was late this morning and so was Tess, my sister! Check out her blog too! She's pretty funny.
