There's no Place Like Home

Yesterday was a tad scary here at the Soosical household. I took the kids to an Easter egg hunt at the park next door to our neighborhood. We left at 11:30 when we saw the weather starting to take a turn for the worse. We got home & the tornado sirens starting going off. I was the pillar of strength while hyperventilating & telling Eric to get the kids in the bathroom. This was really one of the scariest things that has happened to me. The sirens went off about 5 separate times, thank goodness there were no tornadoes near us, whew. We thought that it was finally over when I swear, lighting came in the house. I ran upstairs to turn off the computer for the trillionth time & then we heard it. It sounded like people were at all of the windows of our house, banging on them. It wasn't people banging, just golf ball sized hail falling from the sky. Sirens stared going off for the sixth time that day. Thankfully it was just the hail, & the only damage was a dent to the Civic, Betsy.

Can I just say that I never want to experience that feeling ever again. The unknown of everything was what really got me. I am just glad that we are all okay & that everyone we know is fine too.

Alice wrote on her blog that it was snowing last weekend & this weekend was tornadoes. I must have said that phrase about 13 billion times yesterday. Can weather be any crazier? I think not.

Pictures coming soon, along with a story about my 2 little roosters.

Good to hear that everyone is okay. What a scary experience! You guys need to move back to Florida where all you have to worry about is the hurricanes and getting eaten by alligators! Ugh!
