I Think That I Might be in Trouble

My Mom said to me the other day that Ellie reminds her of me. Oh please God don't let that be true. Let me just give you a little rundown of what little miss Ellis has been doing lately, in bullet fashion.

  • If she finds a pair, or a mismatched pair of shoes she likes to wear, she will not take them off. EVER. It is like trying to make Imelda Marcos have a garage sale for all of her her shoes. Not Fun.

  • She likes to wear her pajamas. All. Day. Long. Yesterday I seriously had to pry the pj's from her little hand to get them off. She screamed for about 10 minutes.

  • Speaking of screaming. I know kids have their little temper tantrums, but I have never seen one like little miss Ellie. It is the most horrific scream I have ever heard. It was so bad in the Target parking lot the other day that a lady stopped (in her car) to tell me that this phase would pass. She also told me that she would pray for me on her way home. Told you it was bad.

  • And last but certainly not least. Grocery shopping. Ellie has to sit in the big part of the buggy. It is not that big of deal, except she won't let put any groceries in the big part of the buggy. I have to fill up the little basket in the front & underneath. Yesterday I almost had to get a second buggy to push around, but thankfully Ellie's little toddler heart opened up & she got out of the buggy. We finished grocery shopping in 1 & 1/2 hours. Good times.

What to do with this little girl. I really hope this is not an inkling of what her teenage years will be like. If it is, remember it takes a village to raise a child so I will be calling on that village to help with little miss Ellie.

I love the new look!

Ellie is too cute to get mad at, does she just look up at you with those big brown eyes and you stop getting upset? I knew it!

And to think, I have so much to look forward to!

I think the woman praying for you helped. Ellie was neither in pajamas nor screaming yesterday when we were there. Maybe it was my charm that calmed her down.

I like the new template-I just am so afraid if I change mine I will lose all that I have written-my encyclopedia as your Mom so kindly pointed out. And she is right.
